Burnell
and
Mildred
lived
in Coal
Grove
just
east
of Ironton.
When
Burnell
died,
Mildred
moved
to Ironton.
Burnell
was
an active
leader
with
the
Coal
Grove
Boy
Scout
Troop,
and
he was
awarded
the
Silver
Beaver
award
for
his
service
to scouting.
He enjoyed
carving
scout
neckerchief
slides.
Mildred
taught
piano
from
her
home
for
many
years.
